Kinda felt like a mobile game to be honest (and I played it as such). No voice acting what so ever which is a bit odd in a modern game. Graphics where nice, story was shallow but fine, didn’t hate the characters. I played this entire game through on the Steam Deck (more on that at the end), and while I know this sort of game is not for everyone, the idea of a dungeon grind town building (kinda) game, is pretty up my alley. Looking forward to the main game!įor those who played, what did you name your weapons? Personally, for $15, i really enjoyed this. I did like how every upgrade to the town made the music more and more positive sounding There's a few that are catchy and stand out, others are a bit generic. buuuut just in case) and not just "extra lore, xp, and items" This is where the fast travel at will within the town is nice. ![]() I do appreciate that completing them slowly accumulate to upgrading and repairing the town, (not sure if REALLY a spoiler, it's minor. Side quests do tend to be repetitive fetch quests, and A LOT of back and fourth. That doesn't really ever happen to me ha Most will probably get that done sooner as you can fast travel to any section of the town at will (excluding dungeons) and i didnt mind manually running around most of the time. I'm at around 29 hours, and 100% the game. ![]() Like, i didn't use a health potion until the final boss, on hard. ![]() However, even as a casual player, this is super easy/casual. It scratched a nostalgia itch i didn't know i had. Gameplay wise: I found myself loving the side scrolling action. It's a great introduction to the world, some of it's characters, and an idea of whats to come in the main game. I recommend this if you plan on picking up "Hundred Heroes"
